About the Author
Johnpaul Williams Sensei is the Chief Instructor of Seiwakai Karate Silicon Valley and holds high-level certifications with Gōjū-Ryū Karatedō Seiwakai and the Japan Karatedo Federation (JKF Gōjūkai). With decades of direct instruction under Hanshi Seiichi Fujiwara and extensive research across Okinawan and Japanese archival sources, his writings bridge classical Japanese traditions with practical martial mechanics.
