Preserving the Legacy of Goju-Ryu Karate in Silicon Valley
Seiwakai Karate Silicon Valley (SKSV) was founded to overcome the challenges faced by dojo in the Bay Area, ensuring the timeless art of Goju-Ryu Karate-do continues to thrive in our community. Rooted in tradition, SKSV traces its origins to 1954, when Yoshiaki Ajari introduced Goju-Ryu Karate at San Jose Community College. Our teachings honor the legacy of Miyagi Chojun (yes, the real-life inspiration behind Mr. Miyagi!), while following the esteemed methods of Seiwakai Karatedo (Japan), JKF Gojukai (Japan), Dai Nippon Butokukai (Japan) and USA Karate.
At SKSV, our mission is to:
Join Us and Begin Your Journey
