2023 Session September – December Menlopark.org Activity-Guide-and-registration
Register for Karate training in Menlo Park at the Arrillaga Family Recreation Center. A short walk from Stanford Mall, Stanford University, Palo Alto and just across the street from the Menlo Park train station.
- Beginners training – Mondays at 5:45 pm.
- Beginners training – Wednesdays at 5:45 pm.
- Palo Alto / Stanford / Menlo Park participants at Arrillaga Recreation 700 Alma St, Menlo Park, CA.
- Beginners may attend the 7 pm class and vice versa with instructor approval or recommendation.
- Experienced training – Mondays at 7:00 pm.
- Experienced training – Wednesdays at 7:00 pm.
- Palo Alto / Stanford / Menlo Park participants at Arrillaga Recreation 700 Alma St, Menlo Park, CA.
- Saturday – Japantown San Jose
- 4 pm temporarily suspended (facility has a prime purpose to community elderly).
- Sunday – Stanford / Menlo Park outdoors at Arrillaga Recreation.
Access doors (for indoor training) may remain open, regardless of climate and face mask requirements.

Beginners may participate in the experienced class if they cannot attend their session and vice-versa. We can never have enough basic training. Supplementary (Sunday) class covers general training, advanced Kata, kobujutsu (weapons / kobudo) and training for pre-grading or pre-competition.

Structure is necessary while attending class either in the dojo or remote video training. Please refrain from distractions such as answering your phone or taking selfies. Also, stay in frame of the camera and ask others in your household for private time to focus and always participate.
- Tuition remittance for Menlo Park Recreation should be paid directly to the governing city agency at the front desk. Tuition remittance for off site sessions, Shelter in place, and/or remote video training should be sent via Paypal, Venmo or Square in a timely manner.
- Please save your digital receipts.
- SKSV tuition is tax deductible (SEIWAKAI KARATE SILICON VALLEY is a registered non-profit).
In the very near future – depending on my evolving work schedule, all schedules may be revised until my hours are set to Monday – Friday. Until then I’ll continue to expand the available classes at our primary location of Menlo Park recreation.
