April 1, 2020
My friends, family and member dojo of Seiwakai USA – Goju Ryu Karatedo.
I pray you are all safe and well. We are in troubling times, we are one, we are Seiwakai and we will continue to move forward post world events. Please reach out if you need someone to talk too or simply catch up.
Today I want to talk about our annual dojo membership dues. On April 7th and 8th everyone will receive their “Square” invoice for 2020. These generic invoices are a bit ‘non-personal’. What’s more, the service automatically sends reminders on a daily basis.
Many of our members and dojo are in, or approaching a cash crunch and the last thing you’ll want or need is another bill to pay. The board officers have decided to offer some flexibility on when and how to pay for the 2020 dojo memberships:

If you do donate to Food Banks, please send a copy of your check or receipt to Mark Cramer Shihan so he can include in the newsletter what we are doing to give back locally.
The dues are important to our organization. Some of the benefits include:
If you have any questions or suggestions, please email me directly. Again, your “Square” invoices will arrive on April 7th and 8th. Contribute by whichever method suits you, and send me an update so the invoicing system doesn’t keep generating invoice reminders for your club.
Stay safe,
JP Williams
Secretary / Treasurer of Seiwakai USA – Goju Ryu Karatedo
