Register for Karate training in Menlo Park at the Arrillaga Family Recreation. A short walk from Stanford University, Palo Alto and Atherton. Our facility is just across the street from the Menlo Park train station and a short drive from Sharon Heights, Sand Hill Road, Woodside, Redwood City, San Mateo and Mountain View.
Register at Menlo Park recreation, online or in person at the front desk.
WINTER SESSION (APRIL through JUNE) REGISTER TODAY
- Monday Beginners – 5:45 pm to 7:00 pm.
- Monday Experienced – 7:00 pm to 8:45 pm.
- Wednesday Beginners – 5:45 pm to 7:00 pm.
- Wednesday Experienced – 7:00 pm to 8:45 pm.
Our ZOOM account is password protected. Please ask Johnpaul Sensei for the WhatsApp password. Hybrid training continues until well…. forever because it can help anyone and everyone whether they can make it to class or not.
Beginners may participate in the experienced class if they can’t attend their session and vice-versa. We can never have enough basic training. Supplementary (Sunday) class covers general training, advanced Kata, kobujutsu (weapons / Kobudō) and training for pre-grading or pre-competition.
- Face masks are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for indoor training & both exit doors may remain open for ventilation.
- Hybrid (ZOOM) access for known and approved viewers and participants only.
- Drop-ins welcome.

Structure is necessary while attending class either in the dojo or remote video training. Please refrain from distractions such as answering your phone or taking selfies. Also, stay in frame of the camera and ask others in your household for private time to focus and always participate.
- Tuition remittance for Menlo Park Recreation should be paid directly to Menlo Park Recreation at the front desk. Tuition remittance for off site sessions, Shelter in place, and/or remote video training should be sent via PayPal or Venmo in a timely manner.
