A few big details all in one week. I’ll also push this to many participants via email.
Next Saturday July 17th we will meet at Lake Vasona park in Los Gatos at 9:00 am for a few (3 or 4) hours. Bring edibles to share, your Sai, Bo and maybe a beach umbrella. We’re not reserving a space (it’s $215!!) as the group shouldn’t be over 20 people. Michael Brunger is ‘Hasta la vista baby’ and relocating to Austin Texas for a new gig and new experiences!
Also, Menlo Park indoor training will soon resume on Wednesdays, beginning September 8th! Same address at 700 Alma St inside of the Arrillaga recreation center. As promised, we will continue the live ZOOM broadcast for those not available to attend in person. Additional days possibly being added with more details to come. In the meantime we continue our Tuesday evening 6:00 p.m. in person training outdoors at the park of the same location.
Next up, training at the new downtown Los Gatos location is confirmed to start by the end of July. Most likely on Tuesday and Thursday evenings or Tuesday’s evening and Saturday mornings, beginning Tuesday the 27th. The address is 123 East Main Street Los Gatos. Room “B” and our space is the 2000 sq’ft area in the back. Plenty of parking and fun places to forage in the downtown area. As promised, we will include the ZOOM broadcast for those not available to attend in person. More details to come. Please register at LGS Recreation, online or in person at their offices.
In addition, we have two (2) live ZOOM seminars from Japan scheduled with Fujiwara Seiichi Hanshi this month. Please see below for details and only register for one (1). Space is restricted to 60 members for each Friday.
In the meanwhile, our Tuesday evening outdoor training in Menlo Park, our Wednesday evening Zoom training online, our Saturday morning outdoor training in San Jose, and our Sunday afternoon to ZOOM training online shall continue as scheduled.
Finally; I have 14 remaining copies of “Volume 1: Goju-Ryu Karate-do Desk Reference” remaining on hand before the next shipment arrives. Please let me know if you have already ordered a copy and didn’t receive or if I should save one for you. Otherwise – it’s still available on Amazon.

August 7 Saturday – 1st Saturday training indoor training in Los Gatos. Please register at LGS Recreation, online or in person at their offices.
