Annually, we attend a seminar series in Japan for both Seiwakai and JKF Gojukai, during the summer months of July or August. All club members (past and present) are welcome, however please let me know of your intent well ahead of time. This summers August 2023 schedule is as follows:
JAPAN 2023 – August 9th through 15th in Omagari (Daisen), Akita Prefecture
- Seiwakai gasshuku (seminar) 1st half: 9th (Wednesday),10th (Thursday) and 11th (Friday),
- Free Day (break for rest and tourism): August 12th (Saturday).
- Seiwakai gasshuku (seminar) 2nd half: 13th (Sunday),14th (Monday) and 15th (Tuesday),
Depart Akita (travel day) to Osaka: August 16th (Wednesday).
- JKF Goju Kai Kata gasshuku (seminar): 17th (Thursday) and 18th (Friday),
- JKF Goju Kai Shiai (tournament): 19th (Saturday) and 20th (Sunday).
