It’s our anniversary!

So yeah, I’m writing a blog post again from Japan. Last year, on this same trip, While here in Japan, I pitched an idea to a few members of the JKF Gojukai and Vassie Naidoo Shihan, of creating a unique Joshi-bu also known as woman’s division (see link – A special association wide women’s group?) and this year I bring another idea. Tomorrow I’ll speak with Fujiwara Shihan and Vassie Shihan after training regarding the 50th Anniversary of Seiwakai Gojuryu Karatedo. I’ve never really heard anyone mention anything about it and believe it may have simply not been on the minds of the leadership. Theyre busy with running the orgainzation at large.

Conveniently, the anniversary of both of our parent organizations (Seiwakai and JKF Gojukai) are in 2022. Also, since the Olympics will be well out of the way, hotel and flight prices should come back down to earth. 

What is everyone’s thoughts on attending such an event?
