Seiwakai Gojuryu Karate (SKSV) training & club update – Corona Virus / Covid 19

Hi everyone.

½ not so good still leaves ½ good. I had hoped we wouldn’t get to this point however as of the moment we have to provide Covid-19 updates:

  • Training at Akiyama Wellness Center (Japantown San Jose) shall continue as scheduled for the foreseeable future. All participants WILL sanitize (decontaminate) before and after training. Please utilize the provided hand sanitizer and / or soap dispenser in the washroom. If there is rain during Sunday afternoon training, we will train indoors. Indoor training shall be limited to a maximum of 15 participants. If it’s not raining and the grass is dry we may train outdoors on the back field to allow for additional distance. Outdoor training shall be limited to a maximum of 25 participants. This is regardless of the state and CDC directive of 250 people.
  • Training at Menlo Park Arrillaga Community Center is suspended immediately due to Corona Virus concerns per recent city actions. The city will provide a prorated refund in the near term. Updates to resume training are forthcoming.

Remember, if you’re not feeling well or have a fever please stay home and keep in contact to let us know how you’re doing.

Stay well and stay safe.
